Accessibility audit (WCAG) and RGAA compliance for your website

A site usable by everyone, and compliant with the law.

Indicative duration3 to 6 weeks

An accessible website is one that everyone can use: blind or partially sighted people, keyboard users, older people, anyone with a temporary disability. It is also, more and more, a legal obligation.

In France, the reference is RGAA 4.1, aligned with WCAG 2.1 level AA. It applies to public bodies and to certain companies. Since 28 June 2025, the European Accessibility Act extends the requirements to many digital services aimed at consumers, including online retail and banking services. Service microenterprises are exempt.

Our work does not stop at the diagnosis. The audit leads to concrete fixes in code, content and user journeys, then to the documents the law requires you to publish.

What you get

  • Audit against RGAA 4.1 on a representative sample of pages
  • Criterion-by-criterion compliance grid, with the issues found
  • Fixes to code, content and user journeys
  • Testing with screen readers and keyboard navigation
  • Accessibility statement ready to publish
  • Multi-year accessibility plan

How it runs

  1. Sample and scope

Selection of the pages and journeys to audit: home page, contact, checkout, customer account, most-visited pages.

  2. Audit

Checks against RGAA criteria, automated tools and manual tests with screen readers and keyboard. Each issue is documented with its fix.

  3. Fixes

Fixes implemented in order of impact on users, then verified on real journeys.

  4. Compliance documents

Drafting of the accessibility statement and the multi-year plan, with the measures planned for the future.

Frequently asked

Does the European Accessibility Act apply to our company?

It does if you offer consumers a service covered by the directive, such as online retail, and you are not a service microenterprise. Assessing your situation is part of the scoping.

Is an automated tool enough to check accessibility?

No. Tools detect only part of the issues. Whether alternative text makes sense, the reading order or whether a form is understandable all require manual testing.

Do we need to rebuild the site to make it accessible?

Rarely. Most fixes concern the existing code and content. If the technical foundation cannot support them, the audit says so clearly.
